Taiko Hasegawa

After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University with a BA in French Literature in 1973, Ms. Hasegawa worked in public relations and advertising for major corporations. In 1981, she was assigned as fashion editor of Marie Claire Japon, and managed and produced the creative editorial and promotions section in conjunction with overseas, high-profile photographers. She produced the press book and video for the brand launch of "Pinky & Dianne", a brand of San-ei International, by first developing the brand communications strategy. Soon after, her creative development evolved into advertising campaigns, corporate/brand identity, and the production and management of art exhibitions. In 1993, Ms. Hasegawa established the present Taiko & Associates, Inc. and assumed the position of President/Creative Director.
