Profile

Graduated form Parsons the New School for Design in New York City with AAS, and Hunter College in New York with BFA degree, majoring in painting of Fine Arts.
After working as a fine art painter at the studio of Takashi Murakami, Akari moved to New York City. She has joined many successful group exhibitions in New York. Through these exhibitions, editors of magazines, photographers and designers, etc. started to call her for assignments. Currently, while working as a textile designer, she is involved in fashion magazines, CD cover designs, package designs, murals, and many commercial illustration works. Akari continues to create her visual artworks regardless of genre.
